Modellrechnungen zur Lösungsmittel- und Polymerenabhängigkeit der thermodynamischen Eigenschaften von Polymerlösungen

A great number of measurements on polymer solutions showed that there exists a distinct correlation between chemical potential, entropy and heat of dilution. Calculations were carried out on different models (quasi-chemical approximation, theory of orientation effects, theory of corresponding states, etc.) and these results were compared with experimental values. The theory of corresponding states yields the most extensive applicability, whereas the other theories may be applied to special problems.
