| 摘 要： | This study deals with the administration ofKidney tonifying(补肾)and Blood invigorating(活血)Chinese herbs to improve the developmentof ovarian follicles in rabbits.In the experimentalgroup,ovarian follicles increased both in size andnumber,but there was no evidence of ovulation orLH surge;however,peripheral blood cAMP decreas-od while cGMP increased.These data indicate thattonification of the Kidney and invigoration of Bloodsuccessfully stimulate follicular development but donot induce ovulation.Other factors must be involv-ed in the mechanism of ovulation.Regulation ofthe cAMP and cGMP balance at the preovulatoryphase is apparently important.
