摘    要:KLF6的主要作用机制是以p53非依赖方式上调p21,进而导致细胞增殖的抑制,其表达异常或活性缺失与前列腺癌、肝癌、胃癌等多种肿瘤的发生发展及预后密切相关,并有可能成为分子靶向治疗的新靶点.

Abstract:It has been revealed that the major mechanism of KLF6 is to upregulate p21 in an p53-independent manner leading to inhibition of cell proliferation. Lacking of KLF6 activity or its abnormal expression may be related to multiple tumors'development and prognosis such as prostate cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer and other tumors. Furthermore, KLF6 may become a novel candidate for molecular target therapy.
