Abstract:
Objective To investigate the clinical value of recombination growth hormone to pneumothorax in malnutrition patients of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods Fifty-eight patients were randomly assigned to therapy group ( n =28)and control group( n = 30) ,two groups were conventional therapied with closed thoracic drainage, oxygen therapy, anti-infection and nutritional support. The therapy group was injected recombination growth hormone (rhGH) 0. 1 IU/Kg in every evening for two weeks. Comparison of two groups of patients with nutritional status, immune function,blood gas analysis, thoracic drainage time and hospital stay. Results In therapy group, the nutritional status,immune function and blood gas analysis were significantly improve than the control group. The thoracic close drainage days and treatment day in rhGH group were less than those of control group ( P <0. 05). Conclusions rhGH can promote protein synthesis,immune function,the healing of alveolar rupture has also been strengthened,thereby reducing the time of lung reexpansion.
