Abstract:
The test methods of gas permeance of pharmaceutical packaging materials in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and domestic and foreign standards were reviewed and discussed.Two common test methods,differential-pressure method and equal-pressure method(Coulometric sensor),were described in detail.The determination of the oxygen permeability of pharmaceutical packaging containers was studied.Thus,a reasonable selection was made based on the gas permeance of pharmaceutical packaging materials,and the establishment of the test method standards of pharmaceutical packaging containers was prospected.
