Abstract: | This report describes a rare case of patency of the ductus arteriosus in the setting of ventricular septal defect and rudimentary pulmonary valve. We comment on the fetal, neonatal, and postmortem findings and speculate about the role of the ductus arteriosus in the development of dilatation of the pulmonary arteries in this malformation. |
