| Abstract: | Objective To investigate the expression and correlation of VEGF and Endostatin in differentiated thyroid carcinoma.Methods VEGF and Endostatin in 100 specimens of differentiated thyroid carcinoma were detected by immunohistochemistry.The correlation of VEGF expression to Endostatin expression was analyzed by Spearman′s rank correlation.Results The expression of VEGF and Endostatin were dramatically higher in the differentiated thyroid carcinoma than that in the nodular goiter tissues(χ2=22.124 and 21.319,P all<0.05).The positive correlation was observed between VEGF and Endostatin in the differentiated thyroid carcinoma(r=0.552,P<0.05).Conclusion VEGF and Endostatin expression of differentiated thyroid carcinoma increase dramatically.VEGF was positively correlated with Endostatin in the differentiated thyroid carcinoma. |
