非小细胞肺癌Bax基因表达及临床病理意义

目的探讨细胞Bax基因表达与非小细胞肺癌的临床病理因素相关性及其与临床预后的关系。方法采用SABC免疫组化法检测43例非小细胞肺癌及20例癌旁正常肺组织石蜡包埋标本的Bax蛋白表达。结果肺癌Bax基因表达阳性率为60.47%,癌旁肺组织阳性率为90%,两者比较差异有显著性(P<0.05)。BAX蛋白的表达与肺癌组织的细胞分化程度以及预后密切相关(P<0.05),与肺癌患者的年龄、性别、肿瘤大小、组织类型、淋巴结转移状态及临床分期无关。结论肺癌存在Bax蛋白低表达;Bax蛋白的表达与肺癌组织分化程度以及患者预后密切相关,Bax蛋白的表达异常可能在肺癌的发生、发展和预后中起重要作用。

THE EXPRESSION OF BAX GENE IN NON-SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER AND THEIR CLINICOPATHOLOGICAL CORRELATION

Objective To study the relationship between the expression of Bax and its clinicopathological features in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods Immunohistochemistry(SABC) method was applied to investigate the expression of Bax protein in archival wax-embedded specimens of 43 cases of NSCLC and 20 normal cases of lung tissues adjacent to lung carcinoma.Results The positive rate of Bax was significantly lower in patient with NSCLC than that in normal lung tissues adjacent to carcinomas(60.47% versus 90%,P< 0.05).The expression of Bax was closely related to histoclassification and prognosis in patients with NSCLC,but not to clinicopathological factors including age,sex,tumor size,TNM stage,lymph node metastasis and histological type of lung cancer.Conclusion The expression of Bax has significant correlation with the differentiation degree of lung carcinoma and prognosis of the patients.The expression of Bax protein was low in NSCLC.Abnormal expression of Bax gene may play an important role in the occurrence,development and prognosis of lung cancer.
