The Clinical Value of Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry in the Diagnosis of Osteoporosis

Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of dual energy X-ray absorptiometry in the clinical diagnosis of osteoporosis,so as to provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis of osteoporosis patients,so as to promote the treatment and prognosis of osteoporosis patients.Methods:From March 2018 to May 2019,80 patients with osteoporosis were selected.80 cases of osteoporosis were diagnosed by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry,and the results of osteoporosis in 31-40,41-50,51-60 and 61-70 years old patients were analyzed.Results:There was a negative correlation between BMD and age growth in the middle-aged and elderly people over 50 years old,and it decreased with age growth.In addition,80 patients had BMD≤x-2.0SD,65 patients had BMD≤x-2.5SD.Conclusion:Dual energy X-ray bone densitometer is of high value in the diagnosis of osteoporosis,which provides valuable reference for the follow-up diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis patients,so as to improve the quality of life and promote the rehabilitation of patients.
