| Abstract: | Objective To explore better therapies for allergic purpura in childen. Methods 67 pediatric patients were randomly assigned to receive Western medicine of two treatment courses (30patients, control group) or ultravilet needle with Chinese herbal medicine for 20 days (37 patients, study group). Results The total effectiveness rate differed significantly between the study group and the control group (91.9% vs. 76.7%, P＜0.01). Conclusions The efficacy of ultravilet needle with Chinese herbal medicine for allergic purpura in childen is much superior to that of Western medicine alone and it is an ideal therapy. |
