We use Chlamydial fluorescent monoclonal antibody agent to examine the C.trachomatis in endocervical samples from 1~3 patients with cervicitis,vaginitia and purulent discharge. The total positive detectable rate of C.trachomatis is 27.06(36/133). There is no significant difference in positivedetectable rates between cervicitis combined with vaginitis and simple cervicitis( P>0.05 ). However, rates of two groups with c;rvicitis show obviousdifference compared with rate of vaginitis seperately(P~0.01 ). The twodetectable rates are obviously high. It can be concluded that C. trachomatisonly invades columnar epithelium in cervical canal leading to endocervicitisbut it can not cause vaginitis directly. |
