Evaluation value of musculoskeletal ultrasound for disease activity of rheumatoid arthritis

Objective To explore the evaluation value of musculoskeletal ultrasound in disease activity of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods A total of 172 suspected rheumatoid arthritis patients admitted from February 14,2018 to February 21,2020 were selected as research objects.According to the gold standard of pathological diagnosis,the patients were divided into rheumatoid arthritis group(positive group,86 cases)and non-rheumatoid arthritis group(negative group,86 cases).All patients underwent musculoskeletal ultrasound examination.The diagnostic efficacy of musculoskeletal ultrasound were analyzed.Results The total abnormal rate of blood flow signal classification in the positive group was significantly higher than that in the negative group(P<0.05).The blood flow signal classification in the high activity disorder group were higher than that in the mild activity disorder group and the moderate activity disorder group,and the synovial thickness was thicker than that in the mild activity disorder group and the moderate activity disorder group(P<0.05).The diagnostic accuracy of musculoskeletal ultrasound was 95.24%for joint effusion and 96.15%for synovial hypertrophy/hyperplasia.The sensitivity,specificity,missed diagnosis rate and misdiagnosis rate of musculoskeletal ultrasound were 96.51%,97.67%,3.49%and 2.33%,respectively.Conclusion In the evaluation of rheumatoid arthritis disease activity,the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound can improve the diagnostic accuracy.
