VEGF和MMP-2在NSCLC组织中的表达及其与预后的关系

目的探讨血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和基质金属蛋白酶-2(MMP-2)在非小细胞肺癌(NSCLC)中的表达和两者相互关系及与患者预后的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学方法测定61例NSCLC病理切片中VEGF和MMP-2的表达情况并对其与患者的年龄、性别、吸烟史、瘤体大小、病理类型、组织分化程度、临床分期、淋巴结转移和生存时间及两者之间的相关性进行统计分析。结果VEGF和MMP-2在61例NSCLC中表达阳性率分别为62.30%和50.82%。VEGF和MMP-2表达在不同年龄、性别、病理分型、肿瘤大小和吸烟史的患者间差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);VEGF表达阳性率与PTNM分期和淋巴结转移相关(P<0.05),MMP-2表达阳性率与淋巴结转移和病理分级相关(P<0.05);VEGF与MMP-2在NSCLC中的表达呈正相关;表达阳性组与阴性组生存期差异有统计学意义。结论VEGF和MMP-2均参与NSCLC的发展、浸润和转移,可作为了解NSCLC的生物学行为和判断预后的指标。

The expression of MMP-2 and VEGF in non-small cell lung carcinoma and their association with the prognosis.

Objective:To evaluate the expression of VEGF and MMP-2 in non-small cell lung cancer and their interaction,and to explore their association with the prognosis of NSCLC.Methods:Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of VEGF and MMP-2 in pathological tissue sections of 61 cases of NSCLC.The relationship between the expression of VEGF and MMP-2 in 61 NSCLC sections and the age, sex,smoke,size of tumor,histopathological type,differentiation,stage,lymph node metastasis and survival time were analyzed statistically.Results:The expression rates of VEGF and MMP-2 in the 61 NSCLC tissue sections were 62.30% and 50.82%,respectively.The expression of VEGF and MMP-2 showed:(1)There was no significant difference among age,sex,histopathological type,tumor size and smoking level;(2)The expression rates of VEGF was associated with PTNM stage and lympha node metastasis(P<0.05);the expression rates of MMP-2 was associated with lympha node metastasis and the degree of histological differentiation (P<0.05);(3) There was correlation between VEGF and MMP-2 expression in NSCLC(P<0.05);(4) There were significant differences of survival time between positive and negative expression groups.Conclusions:Both VEGF and MMP-2 contribute to the development,invasion and metastasis of NSCLC.They are indexes to know the biological behavior of and judge the prognosis of NSCLC.
