马尾圆锥肿瘤的手术效果

①目的 探讨马尾圆锥肿瘤的临床及手术特点。②方法 56例病人行手术治疗,其中马尾圆锥全部切除41例,次全切除9例,大部切除6例。手术标本均行病理检查。③结果 术后恢复良好者46例(占82．1％)。病理诊断以神经鞘瘤、脊膜瘤、胶质瘤、皮样囊肿和脂肪瘤多见。④结论 马尾圆锥肿瘤多为良性,手术是其首选治疗方法,对各种不同的肿瘤应采用不同的手术方式。

AN OPERATION OUTCOME OF CAUDA EQUINA AND CONUS MEDULLARIS TUMOR

Objective To explore the clinical features and surgical findings of cauda equina and conus medullaris tumors. Methods Fifty-six patients received surgical resection for cauda equina and conus medullaris tumors. The tumors were totally removed in 41 cases, sub-totally removed in nine cases and widely removed in six cases. Pathologic examinations were done for all specimens. Results Forty-six patients(82.1%)had a satisfactory recovery. Neurinoma, meningioma, ependymoma, astrocytoma, dernoid cyst and lipoma were frequently diagnosed pathologically. Conclusion Most cauda equina and conus medullaris tumors are benign. A surgical resection is the first choice of treatment and the procedures should be carried out based on different tumors accordingly.
