Abstract: | Absence of the long head of the biceps tendon was detected during arthroscopic evaluation of shoulder pain in a weight-lifter. Magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound showed the presence of a hypoplastic tendon with altered depth and width of the bicipital groove. The tendon-glenoid insertion shown by magnetic resonance imaging was apparently normal. |
