Influence of American Magnet Hospital Certification System on Chinese Nursing

Though short of nursing personnel,magnet hospital can attract professional nurses,reduce the rate of dimission,own high quality nursing staffs and supply good nursing service.The assessment of magnet hospital has been practiced in many developed countries and a whole certification system has been established.By understanding the main features,assessment criteria,application qualification and procedure,the authors ponder on the current situation of Chinese nursing and put forward their advices: to deploy and classify nursing human resource reasonably;to intensify the reward system;to promote the cultivation of nurses of specific medicine and the development of nursing specialization;and to attempt to establish hospital satisfied by both patients and nurses.
