7 cases of severe preeclampsia complicated by abdominal wall hematoma after cesarean section

Objective To explore the cause and prevention of abdominal wall hematoma after cesarean section in severe preeclampsia.Methods The clinical data of 7 cases of abdominal wall hematoma after cesarean section with severe preeclampsia in The Third People’s Hospital of Chengdu from January 2016 to December 2020 were summarized and retrospectively analyzed.Results The incidence of abdominal wall hematoma after cesarean section in severe preeclampsia was 0.56%(7/1 235).3 cases underwent conservative treatment with compression bandaging, 4 cases underwent hematoma removal, of which 2 cases had good incision healing after hematoma removal, 1 case complicated incision infection, changed dressing for a long time to secondary suture and discharged, and 1 case had new hematoma after hematoma removal, monitoring color Doppler ultrasound hematoma did not increase, conservative treatment improved and discharged.All 7 patients have recovered.Conclusion Prevention of abdominal wall hematoma after cesarean section in severe preeclampsia is important, appropriate treatment should be selected after hematoma occurs.
