Establishment and application of the median of maternal serological screening markers in the second trimester in Liaocheng area

Objective To establish a median database of maternal serum prenatal screening markers in the second trimester of pregnancy in Liaocheng,and to explore its applicability.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 40 656 maternal serum prenatal test results in Liaocheng Prenatal Diagnosis Center from January 2017 to December 2020.Prisca 4.0 software was used for risk assessment, and the median equation in Liaocheng area was constructed and embedded in the software, and compared the changes in median, multiples of the median(MoM) and detection rate of serum markers with the software built-in equation.Results(1) Comparing the software embedded system with the localized median system in Liaocheng area, the difference between the median of serum markers and the median of MoM was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the median of localized MoM was closer to in 1.(2) After applying the localized median system for risk assessment, the screening high-risk rate decreased by 2.67%,the disease detection rate increased by 6.2%,and the false positive rate decreased by 2.68%.Conclusion The establishment of the median system for prenatal screening serum markers in the second trimester in this region can effectively improve the screening efficiency, and has guiding significance for prenatal screening in Liaocheng area.
