| Abstract: | Objective To examine the mental health status among the employees of Community Health Care Centers in Baoshan District of Shanghai during the COVID-19 epidemic and to provide reference for promoting their mental health.Methods An online survey was conducted among 984 employees of Community Health Care Centers in Baoshan District on the May 2020.The Somatic Selfrating Scale(SSS),Patient Health Questionnaire 9-Item(PHQ-9),and Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-Item(GAD-7)were administered among the employees by Wenjuanxing platform.Results A total of 907(92.2%)and 918(93.3%)employees felt work pressure before and during the epidemic,of which 716(72.8%)and 783(79.6%)were severe,respectively.During the epidemic,totally 514 cases(52.2%)had somatization symptoms,of which 248 cases(25.2%)were moderate or severe;387 cases(39.3%)had depressive symptoms,of which 127 cases(12.9%)were moderate or severe;299 cases(30.4%)had anxiety symptoms,of which 84 cases(8.5%)were moderate or severe.Multivariate analysis showed that female,old age,high education level,and high work pressure were the risk factors of mental health,and being able to bear high work pressure was the protective factor of mental health.Conclusion The mental health status of employees in Baoshan District Community Health Care Centers needs to be improved.Attention should be paid to key groups,early screening and early psychological intervention. |
