| 摘 要： | 霍尔顿是塞林格的长篇小说《麦田里的守望者》中的主人公。生活在物质文明高度发达的西方社会,面 对周围污秽不堪的现实,霍尔顿感到厌恶、苦闷、失望。他反叛现代社会的一切,向往舒服、宁静的生活空间, 但终因理想破灭,精神全面崩溃被送进精神病院。

| Abstract: | Holden is the hero in J.D.Salinger's novel The Catcher in The Rye, Living in the highly developed western society and faced with sordid reality, he felt sick, depressed, and disappointed. He rebelled against everything in the modern society and yearned for a comfortable and peaceful life. But in the end he was mentally crushed, broken down and was taken to a mental hospital. |
