学龄儿童龋患引致牙(牙合)畸形的研究

目的找出早期预防龋齿,早期治疗牙[牙合]畸形的最佳方法,为口腔临床医生提供技术指引,提高人们的预防意识。方法选取小学阶段1000名学生作为研究对象,进行6年时间的系统跟踪,排除家族遗传史和存在不良习惯的个体,把研究对象进行分阶段整理,对于严重的龋坏或牙畸形的学龄儿童加以治疗,并观察颌骨发育的情况。结果选取研究的学生的牙齿龋患和牙畸形基本得到治疗,龋患严重的受检学生发生牙畸形的机会也相应提高。结论学龄儿童严重的牙齿龋患与牙畸形有直接的关系,找出阻断畸形的预防方法和最佳治疗年龄,对临床工作具有指导意义。

A study of caries leading to dento-facial maloccusions in school-age children

Objective To find the optimal methods to prevent caries, and to treat dento-facial maloccusions in children. This would serve as technical guide for dental clinicians. It would also improve the role of prevention in people. Methods One thousand students in local elementary school were included in this study. The subjects will inherited diseases and had oral habits were excluded. All subjects were followed for six years. The subjects' incidence of caries and their jaw development were examined at certain stages. The ones with severe caries and dento-facial maloccusions were treated. Results The incidence of dento-facial maloccusions was higher in the subjects with higher incidence of caries .The subjects'caries and dento-facial maloccusions were controlled. Conclusion Based on this study,there was a close relationship between the incidences of caries and dento-facial maloccusions in school-age children. It would greatly benefit clinical practice if the optimal of preventing maloccusions and the optimal for receiving treatment could be disclosed.
