李东垣运用风药的实践意义

李东垣在治疗内伤病的过程中常常运用风药,其治疗中气下陷诸证,多在补益中气的基础上加用风药,以升提下陷之气,代表方剂补中益气汤;治疗阴火证,以甘温益气升阳药配大量风药,以发越内外之郁火,代表方剂升阳散火汤;治疗脾胃气虚,湿邪内困诸证,采用益气利湿药配合风药,以化解内外之湿邪,代表方剂升阳除湿汤。

Li Dongyuan often used wind-expelling drugs to treat the internal injury.His treatment for syndromes due to sinking of qi of middle-jiao was to add wind-expelling drugs on the basis of invigorating the spleen and replenishing qi in order to lift the sinking of qi of middle-jiao.Buzhong Yiqi Decoction was the representative.The treatment for yin-fire syndromes was to accompany large amounts of wind-expelling drugs with drugs of sweet flavor and warm nature for supplementing qi and elevating the spleen yang in order to expell the stagnated fire in the interior and exterior.The representative was Shengyang Sanhuo Decoction.The treatment for syndromes of the deficiency of the spleen and stomach qi and damp expathogen stagnated in the in terior was to apply the drugs for supplementing qi and removing dampness and wind-expelling drugs in order to eliminate the dampness in the interior and exterior.Shengyang Chushi Decoction was the representative.
