Effects of rehabilitation nursing combined with affective intervention based on Orem self-care theory on neurological function,self-care ability and quality of life in patients with cerebral infarction and hemiplegia

Objective To explore the effects of rehabilitation nursing combined with affective intervention based on Orem self-care theory on neurological function,self-care ability and quality of life in patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia.Methods A total of 100 patients with cerebral infarction treated in this hospital from June 2018 to February 2019 were selected and divided into conventional group and study group according to the time of admission.Patients in the conventional group received routine nursing,while patients in the study group received rehabilitation nursing combined with emotional intervention based on Orem self-care theory.Neurological function,self-care ability and quality of life were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results Before intervention,there were no statistically significant differences in NIHSS score,Barthel index score and SF36 scale score between the two groups(P<0.05).After intervention,the NIHSS score and Barthel index score of patients in the study group were(3.08±1.12)and(79.28±6.41),respectively,which were significantly better than those in the conventional group and before intervention,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition,the life quality scores of the study group were significantly better than those of the conventional group and before intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions The implementation of cerebral infarction hemiplegia in patients with cerebral infarction can effectively improve their neurological function,and it is of great significance to improve patients'self-care ability and quality of life.
