Phospholipase A2 levels during labor |

| Abstract: | Determinations of phospholipase A2 activity 2 hours after spontaneous start of uterine contractions in 14 women showed higher values than immediately post partum. The reason of this increase of enzyme activity inducing prostaglandin synthesis is not known yet. |
