氢氧化钙和甲醛甲酚治疗慢性根尖周炎疗效比较

目的:研究氢氧化钙用于感染牙根管内消毒的疗效。方法:选取患有慢性根尖周炎的患牙97颗,按就诊日期的单双日分为氢氧化钙组(49颗牙)和甲醛甲酚组(48颗牙),冠向下法根管预备后分别于根管内封入氢氧化钙或甲醛甲酚进行消毒,1周后观察疗效。结果:两组封药后症状均减轻或消失,氢氧化钙组的有效率为89.8%,甲醛甲酚组有效率为70.8%,两组间有显著性差异(P<0.05)。结论:对于伴有瘘管的感染根管病例,氢氧化钙是比较理想的根管消毒剂。

Comparison of the effect of calcium hydroxide and formocresol on treatment of chronic periapical periodontitis

Objective:To study the disinfecting effect of calcium hydroxide in root canals of infected teeth.Methods:A total of 97 teeth with chronic periapical periodontitis were divided into two groups,based on the date of dentist working on odd or even week days.Group A was disinfected using calcium hydroxide and Group B using formocresol,respectively.Both types of disinfectants were put into root canals by using crown-down presentation techniques.and their therapeutic effects were examined one week later.Results:Both disinfectants led to alleviation or disappearance of toothache.For teeth with knocking pain and fistula,however,the therapeutic effect of calcium hydroxide was higher(89.8%) than that of formocresol(70.8%),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:For teeth with chronic periapical periodontitis,calcium hydroxide is an relatively suitable root canal disinfectant.
