Hygienic evaluation of central air conditioning system in China center for disease control and prevention

Objective To evaluate the hygienic safety of central air conditioning system in north district of China CDC in order to prevent and control the occurrence of air-borne diseases.Methods Data and data were collected by literature analysis, on-site investigation and hygiene testing. Health status and health impact of central air-conditioning ventilation system during trial operation were evaluated by means of inspection,testing and risk assessment.Results The total number of air conditioning bacteria in 4 testing points in the west area of the two, three and five story office area and the east area of the two story office area of the scientific research building of infectious diseases institute exceeded the standard by 1.13, 1.13, 1.54 and 1.35, respectively;the test result of air conditioning PM 2.5 in the west area of the three story office area exceeded the standard by 2.17, and the rest test results were qualified.Conclusion The centralized air conditioning and ventilation system basically meets the requirements of the Hygienic Code for the Centralized Air Conditioning and Ventilation System in Public Places, but it is necessary to improve the hygienic management system,and to improve the health records and formulate the cleaning and disinfection system for the centralized air conditioning system.
