Application effect of comprehensive care in pediatric intensive care unit

Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive care nursing in pediatric intensive care unit(PICU). Methods One hundred children in the PICU of Zhongshan People’s Hospital of Guangdong Province from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was given comprehensive care nursing on the basis of the control group. The incidence of complications,nursing satisfaction rate of family members and treatment cooperation degree of the two groups were collected. Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.0%,lower than 22.0% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate and cooperation degree of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion The implementation of comprehensive care nursing was helpful to promote the cooperative treatment of children in PICU,build a harmonious relationship between nurses and patients,so as to promote the rehabilitation of children,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
