| Abstract: | Root canal preparation is the critical step in root canal treatment （RCT）.Nickel-titanium rotary instruments have higher cutting capacity. The files in nickel-titanium rotary instruments can work along the original direction of the canal.Using nickel-titanium rotary instruments can make the canal into cone shape. The cone shape makes the scrap robust for being pushed out of the apical part. Therefore, in this paper, the functions of currently used nickel-titanium rotary instruments are reviewed. |
