| Abstract: | Polygonum bistorta L. mainly contains flavonoids,phenolic acids, anthraquinone,tannin, and other compounds, which is characterized by clearing heat, reliving convulsion, regulating damp and reducing swelling. This paper surveys the recent research of Polygonum bistorta L. from three aspects ：herbalism , Chemical constituents, pharmacological action.It could provide a reference for development and utilization of Polygonum bistorta L. |
