| Abstract: | Objective: To study the relationship between consciousness obstacle of heroin addicts during detoxification and BZD abuse or combinational use of antipsychotic. Methods: To give 122 cases having consciousness obstacle retrospective analysis from 1470 heroin dependence cases treated in our hospital (2001-2004). Results: Among 122 cases (8.30%) having consciousness obstacle, 96 cases (78.69%) had BZD abuse meantime; and among 96 cases having BZD abuse, 74 cases (77.08%) had combinational use of antipsychotic meantime. It means that in heroin addicts during detoxification, BZD abuse and combinational use of antipsychotic were accomplished with higher incidence of consciousness obstacle. Conclusion: There may be some interconversional relation between heroin dependence, BZD abuse or combinational use of antipsychotic. Combinational use of antipsychotic might make brain cortex incomplete restrain, which results in the release of subcortical center. |
