The practical value of abdominal contrast enhanced ultrasound in distinguishing hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma from renal clear cell carcinoma

Objective To discuss the practival value of abdominal contrast enhanced ultrasound in distinguishing hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma from renal clear cell carcinoma.Methods There were 67 patients with renal masses confirmed by surgery and pathology as study subjects,and all underwent abdominal contrast enhanced ultrasound.The pathological results and the performance of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in all patients were analyzed,and the accuracy of enhanced ultrasound mode and contrast-enhanced ultrasound in patients with renal clear cell carcinoma and hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma was compared.Results Among 67 patients with renal masses,51 were renal clear cell carcinoma,and 16 were hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma.Among them,the hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma is homogeneous,with malformed vascular development,fewer microvessels,high blood flow resistance,thick-walled blood vessels,and slow flow rate.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound showed that renal clear cell carcinoma was predominantly fast forward and fast retreat,accounting for 47.06%;hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma was predominantly fast forward and slow retreating,accounting for 75.00%.The proportion of fast-forward and fast-retreat renal clear cell carcinoma was 47.06%higher than 0 of hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma,while the proportion of fast-forward and slow-retreat 23.53%was lower than 75.00%of hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the proportion of advance and retreat together,slow forward and fast retreat and slow forward and slow retreat(P>0.05).The accuracy of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in diagnosing renal clear cell carcinoma was 92.16%,which had no statistically significant different compared with 93.75%of hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma(P>0.05).Conclusion Abdominal contrast enhanced ultrasound has great significance in distinguishing hypoechoic renal angiomyolipoma from renal clear cell carcinoma,which can provide a basis for clinical treatment.
