In recent years,with the in-depth study of stress-induced emotional disorders,researchers have noticed that life stress and environmental stress have a significant impact on neurodegenerative diseases.Psychological stress has become a key factor in neurodegenerative diseases.Although there is no direct corresponding concept of psychological stress in traditional Chinese medicine,its regulation of emotional activities has been included in the function of liver storing and dispersing.According to traditional Chinese medicine,all diseases are caused by depression.If you are depressed but not comfortable,all diseases are caused by liver wood.If the function of liver storing and dispersing is out of balance,it will lead to the disharmony of Qi and blood,the emotion is not smooth,and even the function of viscera is disordered.On the other hand,long-term emotional dysfunction will also have adverse effects on the liver storage and drainage function,and even affect the occurrence and progress of many diseases.Therefore,this article from the perspective of psychological stress,combined with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine,modern medical theory and neurodegenerative diseases,to further explore the correlation between liver governing the catharsis and neurodegenerative diseases,not only conducive to the development of TCM visceral theory and clinical research,but also has important significance to change or delay the progress of neurodegenerative diseases.
