The status quo and equity of community health resources allocation in Inner Mongolia, 2014-2018

Abstract: Objective To analyze the current situation and equity of community health resources allocation in Inner Mongolia from 2014 to 2018,and to provide some references for further optimization of community health resources allocation. Methods Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient were used to evaluate the equity of community health resource allocation in Inner Mongolia. Results The distribution of community health resources in Inner Mongolia was high in the middle and low in the two sides. From 2014 to 2018,the total amount of health resources in Inner Mongolia increased continuously. On the whole, the Lorenz curve of community health resources is the least curved in the dimension of GDP, while the Lorenz curve of community health resources is the most curved in the dimension of geographical area. Conclusion The total amount of community health resources in Inner Mongolia is increasing, but the per capita is insufficient. Shortage of qualified practitioners( assistant) physicians and registered nurses. The allocation of health resources according to the permanent population and GDP is relatively fair, while the allocation of health resources according to the geographical area varies greatly.
