Analysis of pregnant women in a Medical college community

Objective To analyze distribution of pregnancy risk factors and outcomes of women in Medical college community,and compare with the women in the corresponding administrative region.Methods Pregnancy risk factor and outcome distributions of 873 pregnant women who registered in a medical college community from December 2012 to October 2018 were analyzed and compared with those of women in the corresponding administrative region.Main pregnancy risk factors which influenced pregnancy outcomes were screened.Results The incidence rate of risk pregnancy,advanced age,Gestational Diabetes Mellitus,hypothyroid and hyperthyroid were all higher,while postpartum hemorrhage was lower in this community than those in Haidian district.In the non-risk group,preterm birth and Low birth weight were lower in this community than those in Haidian district(P<0.05).Twin pregnancy,placenta previa and premature rupture of membranes were related to adverse pregnancy outcomes in this community.Conclusion Incidence of risk pregnancy was high,while adverse pregnancy outcome was low in pregnant women from this medical college community.
