Study on NLR,PLR combined with CA125 in diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of epithelial ovarian cancer

Objective To investigate the significance of neutrophil/lymphocyte count(NLR),platelet/lymphocyte count(PLR)combined with CA125 in the diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of epithelial ovarian cancer.Methods Data of 236 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer and 100 cases of benign ovarian tumor were collected from January 2010 to December 2015 in Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University.Through ROC analysis,the sensitivity and specificity of NLR,PLR combined with CA125 in the diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer were obtained.Univariate and Cox regression models were used to analyze the influence on the survival.Results There were significant differences in FIGO staging,tissue differentiation,ascites,CA125,and tumor cytoreductive surgery satisfaction,postoperative recurrence between low NLR group and high NLR group,low PLR group and high PLR group(P<0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of NLR,PLR combined with CA125 in the diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer were higher.≥50 years old,NLR≥2,PLR≥150,stage III-IV,G3,lymph node metastasis,satisfaction of tumor cytoreductive surgery were risk factors for prognosis.PLR,FIGO stage and tumor cytoreductive surgery satisfaction were independent risk factors for overall survival.Conclusion NLR,PLR combined with CA125 can be used as sensitive indicators for the diagnosis and prognosis of epithelial ovarian cancer.High NLR and high PLR indicate poor prognosis.
