| Abstract: | Basic facts about SARS are presented, including epidemiology, clinical symptoms and the course of disease, multinational search of etiological factor, diagnostic approaches and others. The role of molecular biology in elucidating structure, features and phylogenetic aspects of SARS coronavirus is underlined. |
