Clinical Observation on Electroacupuncture Combined with Acupotomy in the Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective To explore the clinical effect of the implementation of electroacupuncture and acupotomy treatment in patients with lumbar disc protrusion patients.Methods 80 patients with lumbar disc protrusion were divided into electroacupuncture group and combined group by drawing lot,and each group had 40 cases.Before and after treatment of lumbar vertebral activity angle,related score and clinical efficacy was compared.Results There was no significant difference in the angle of lumbar activity and related score in the treatment of two groups of lumbar disc protrusion patients(P>0.05).After 2 or 3 courses of treatment,the functional limitation score and pain score of the combined group were lower than those of the electroacupuncture group(P<0.001).In the combined group,the flexion Angle and retroflexion Angle were greater(P<0.001).The total effective rate of the combined group was 95.00%(38/40)which was higher than that of the electroacupuncture group(77.50%,31/40),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of electroacupuncture and acupotomy treatment in patients with lumbar disc protrusion patients is accurate,which can improve the angle of lumbar activity in patients and reduce their mobility disorders and pain.
