A Survey of the Research on Promoting Blood Circulation and Removing Blood Stasis Method in the Treatment of Diabetic Nephropathy

Diabetic nephropathy(DN)is a microvascular complication formed when diabetes develops to a certain stage.It is a chronic disease,and its incidence is second only to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.TCM believes that the pathogenesis of the disease is Yin deficiency,dry heat,and blood stasis throughout the course of the disease.Therefore,in the treatment of DN,the application of activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis method has achieved a significant effect.This paper summarized the research situation of the application of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis method in the treatment of DN from two aspects of experimental research and clinical research,so as to find the theoretical basis for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy by promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis method.
