Clinical Observation on Xijiao Dihuang Decoction in the Treatment of Allergic Purpura in Children

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Xijiao Dihuang decoction in the treatment of allergic purpura in children.Methods From August 2013 to August 2017,60 children with simple allergic purpura in Shenyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,and the treatment group was treated with Xijiao Dihuang decoction on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated with 7 d as a course of treatment,and the efficacy was observed after 2 courses of treatment.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%(28/30),and that of the control group was 70.00%(21/30).The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Xijiao Dihuang decoction in the treatment of allergic purpura in children can significantly improve the treatment effect,promote the relief of symptoms,and is safe and reliable.
