Effects of massive blood transfusion on inflammatory factors and coagulation function in trauma patients

Objective To analyze the effects of massive blood transfusion on inflammatory factors and coagulation function in trauma patients.Methods A total of 88 trauma patients who received treatment in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into observation group(48 cases,massive blood transfusion)and control group(40 cases,small amount of blood transfusion)according to the amount of blood transfusion.The inflammatory factors level and coagulation function of the two groups were compared before and 1,5 d after blood transfusion.Results On the first day after blood transfusion,CRP,IL-6 and TNF-αlevels in the observation group were significantly higher than those before blood transfusion and in the control group(P<0.05);on the 5th day after blood transfusion,there were no significant differences in the levels of serum inflammatory factors between the two groups(P>0.05).On the first day after blood transfusion,PT,APTT and TT in the observation group were significantly longer than those before blood transfusion and in the control group,FIB level was significantly lower than that before blood transfusion and in the control group(P<0.05);on the 5th day after blood transfusion,there were no significant differences in coagulation function indexes between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Massive blood transfusion can save the life safety of trauma patients,but it has a certain impact on the level of inflammatory factors and coagulation function,which should be paid close attention during treatment.
