Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of improved loading method of instruments on cleaning quality of surgical instruments.Methods A total of 4000 pieces of contaminated reusable surgical instruments were divided into control group(n=2000,traditional loading method)and study group(n=2000,improved loading method based on the structural characteristics of the instruments and the cleaning principle of the cleaning machine)by the random number table method.The cleaning quality of the surgical instruments in the two groups were compared.Results The qualified rates of cleaning and sterilization of lumen instruments,coupling serrated instruments and solid instruments in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of appearance cleanliness,coupling serrated part cleanliness,lumen cleanliness,cleaning quality and disinfection quality in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Improved loading method based on the structural characteristics of the instruments and the cleaning principle of the cleaning machine is conducive to improving the cleaning quality of the surgical instruments and improving the sterilization effect.
