Clinical study of endoscopic ligation,sclerotherapy and tissue glue embolization in the treatment of esophageal and gastric varicose vein bleeding.

Objective To study the efficacy of endoscopic ligation,sclerotherapy and tissue glue embolization in the treatment of esophageal and gastric varicose vein bleeding.Methods Retrospective analysis was performed on 220 patients with esophageal and gastric varices bleeding admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from January 2018 to June 2019.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group(n=100)and study group(n=120).The control group was treated with endoscopic band ligation alone,and the study group was treated with endoscopic band ligation,sclerosing agent and tissue glue embolization.The severity of varicose veins,pain score,esophageal varices diameter,portal vein width,splenic vein width and the success rate of hemostasis,early rebleeding rate and late rebleeding rate after treatment were compared between the two groups before and 3 d after operation.Results There was no significant difference in the severity of varicose veins,pain score,esophageal varices diameter,portal vein width,and splenic vein width before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05);3 d after operation,the two groups had moderate to severe varicose veins rate,pain score,esophageal varicose diameter,Portal vein width and splenic vein width were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05);3 d after operation,the study group had moderate to severe varicose vein rate,pain score,esophageal varicose diameter,portal vein width,splenic vein width,early rebleeding rate,and delayed The rebleeding rate was lower than that of the control group,and the success rate of hemostasis was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combined application of endoscopic ligation,sclerotherapy and tissue glue embolization in the treatment of esophageal and gastric varicose vein hemorrhage is effective,which can effectively reduce the severity and pain of varicose veins in patients and reduce the rate of rebleeding.
