| Abstract: | Medical informatics is a cross - application discipline that developed rapidly in the past years. In the tirst decade ot the 21 st century, international experts and scholars analyzed and discussed about the development of the discipline from different aspects. The paper summarizes authoritative research achivements and expert opinions in the recent years from the following aspects, including disci- pline characteristics, research fields, education and training, connections and differences among these disciplines. |
