| Abstract: | In the literatures from 1994–2004, points selected for treatment of insomnia were shenmen (HT 7), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Taichong (LR 3), Baihui (GV 20), Sishencong (Ex-HN 1), Taixi (KI 3) and Anmian etc. Most of the key acupoints are yuan-source points of yin meridians or located at head region, and back-shu points were selected as coordinative points.
