Abstract:Objective:To study the effect of dexamethasone on blood glucose of pregnant women and infants with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods:105 pregnant women with GDM from June 2014 to April 2018 were selected as observation group.They were randomly divided into amniotic cavity injection group,intramuscular injection group and intravenous injection group.Another 35 pregnant women with GDM were selected as blank control group.The observation group was treated with dexamethasone to promote fetal lung maturation,while the blank control group was not treated with dexamethasone in any way.The data of fasting blood glucose in four groups before and after treatment were compared.Results:The blood glucose before treatment was significantly lower than that after treatment(P<0.05);the data of fasting blood glucose in blank control group were not significantly different before and after treatment(P>0.05).the clinical complications of GDM pregnant women in amniotic cavity injection group were significantly less than those in intramuscular injection group and intravenous injection group(P<0.05);the clinical complications of GDM pregnant women in intramuscular injection group and intravenous injection group were significantly less than those in blank control group(P<0.05),with statistical significance.Conclusion:Injection of dexamethasone into amniotic cavity will not lead to the increase of blood glucose,and the prognosis of newborns is good.It is worth popularizing and applying in clinic.
