Abstract: | The human induced pluripotent stem cells-derived cardiomyocytes(hiPSC-CMs)provide an ideal cell source for heart repair,cardiac drug testing,in vitro cardiac modeling,etc.However,hiPSC-CMs is less mature than cardiomyocytes,showing a lack of certain gene expression,structural,metabolic,electrophysiological immaturity,and low level of Ca 2+treatment.Many methods including biochemical stimulation,physical stimulation,co-culture,3D culture and miRNA are devoted to promoting hiPSC-CMs maturation.In this paper,the characteristics and maturation methods of hiPSC-CMs were reviewed,and the development direction of this field was put forward. |
