Difficulties,Reforms,and Prospects of Emergency Observation Ward in Chinese Medicine Hospital in COVID-19 Situation

Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease-2019(COVID-19),the medical staff,typical those in the emergency department,have been actively fighting in the front line of the epidemic.The whole society and tertiary hospitals have responded quickly and actively carried out the prevention and control of COVID-19.As the hospital′s first line of defense,the emergency department faces more pressure than ever.The emergency observation ward,a unique set of the emergency department,has encountered more difficulties than the past in terms of material management,patient management,medical management,and system implementation.In response to a series of problems faced by the observation ward,the authors have formulated and implemented a series of improvement programs and strive to adopt precise prevention and control measures to effectively improve medical treatment and guarantees medical safety when personnel and materials are scarce.
