Analysis of cervical cancer screening among rural women in Kuandian County

Objective To analyze the results of cervical cancer screening for women in Kuandian County and understand the prevalence of diseases among rural women in Kuandian County in order to improve the health level of women.Methods Married women in rural registered residence aged 35-64 years in 22 townships of Kuandian County were asked about their medical history,gynecological examination,routine leucorrhea,cervical smear(according to TBS classification),B-ultrasound examination of uterine appendages.For women with abnormal screening results,further colposcopy and histopathological diagnosis will be performed.Results 8 cases of cervical cancer were screened out in 28433 people in Kuandian County from 2017 to 2019.The incidence rate of cervical cancer was 28.13/10 million,and the incidence rate of cervical cancer was relatively stable in three years.A total of 86 cases of cervical lesions were detected in three years,of which 49 cases(57.0%)were aged 35-54 years old,75 cases(87.2%)were from junior high school or below,and 80 cases(93.0%)had not received cervical cancer screening in three years.Conclusion The promotion of reproductive health knowledge should be strengthened to enable early detection and treatment of cervical cancer and improve the quality of life of rural women.
