Clinical effect of atorvastatin in the treatment of stable coronary heart disease

Objective To analyze the clinical effect of atorvastatin in the treatment of stable coronary heart disease.Methods A total of 120 patients with stable coronary heart disease were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional therapy,and the observation group was treated with atorvastatin based on the control group.The blood lipid indexes before and after treatment and occurrence of ischemic events were compared between the two groups.Results Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the TC(4.27±0.42)mmol/L,TG(2.14±0.59)mmol/L and LDL-C(0.93±0.52)mmol/L of the observation group were lower than(5.43±0.94),(2.44±0.71)and(3.27±0.34)mmol/L of the control group,and HDL-C(1.44±0.54)mmol/L was higher than(1.24±0.44)mmol/L of the control group.All the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of ischemic events of the observation group was 5.0%,which was significantly lower than 16.7%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of stable coronary heart disease,atorvastatin is helpful to improve blood lipid indexes and reduce the incidence of ischemic events,which provides a reference for the clinical treatment of stable coronary heart disease.
