双侧上尿路移行细胞癌的诊治体会(附5例报告)

Diagnosis and Treatment of Transitional Cell Carcinoma of Bilateral Upper Urinary Tracts(report of 5 cases)

[Objective] To explore the diagnosis and treatment of transitional cell carcinoma of bilateral upper urinary tracts. [Methods]The clinical data of 5 patients wifh transitional cell carcinoma of bilateral upper urinary tracts were analyzed retrospectively. Among all patients, 4 cases underwent surgical treatment and one case received conservative treatment. [Results] The pathological results indicated that all patients were transitional cell carcinoma of upper urinary tract. All patients were followed for 5-61 months. During the follow up, one case receiving conservative treatment had the occurrence of bladder tumor twice. In other cases, one case died, and one case had the recurrence of ureter tumor in the side of reserved kidney, and two cases had no tumor recurrence and metastasis. [Conclusion] In order to avoid postoperative dialysis, the operation of kidney reservation should be selected for transitional cell carcinoma of bilateral upper urinary tracts. Intensive observation and follow up after operation should be taken.
